Safeguarding
The Hogarth Charitable Trust has a responsibility to protect & safeguard all children / young people and vulnerable adults who attend the Hogarth Community Centre.
- The Hogarth Charitable Trust promotes the well-being of all children / young people and vulnerable adults.
- We require all licensees, users and visitors to the Centre to follow our safeguarding rules at all times – there are no exceptions.
- A copy of our safeguarding rules is available upon request. If a user or visitor is unclear about any rule they must seek clarity from the Designated Safeguarding Officer / Deputy.
- The Designated Safeguarding Officer / Deputy have the right to approach anyone inside the Hogarth Community Centre and outside the Centre during external activities, in order to safeguard children / young people. At the point of contact you must adhere to the instructions that you have been given by them.
- All licensees who work with children / young people and vulnerable adults, must have their own safeguarding policy which must be evidenced to the Centre Manager when signing a license agreement to use the Centre. Licensees must enforce their safeguarding policy and also abide by the Centre’s safeguarding rules at all times.
- Any licensee who breaches our safeguarding rules may have their license agreement terminated.
- Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility – we must work together to ensure the well-being of children / young people and vulnerable adults.
