Friends of the Hogarth

Working with Trustees, the Youth Team and the Centre Manager, the Friends of the Hogarth group was started in September 2019 by three local residents: Tony Bowden, Joan D’Olier and Pam Morrow. The core purpose of the group is to support the delivery of our youth programme and to develop a vibrant community centre for local residents.

The Friends of the Hogarth has since evolved into an informal group of local residents, businesses and charities which helps to deliver our youth programme through generous donations and resource support. By raising its profile through various events, the group now consists of over 300 individuals and over 50 partner organisations.

Membership of the group is free. Simply provide your email using the link below to join and to receive our quarterly newsletters.

Friends are sent a quarterly e-mail from Trustees updating on the youth programme, fund raising events and centre operations. We also encourage Friends to ask their friends, relatives and work colleagues to consider joining the group. Many Friends make regular donations to support the Charity’s work with young people.

In February 2021 we hosted our first virtual fund raising wine tasting, which raised over £7,000 for our Summer Holiday Youth Programme. We now host an annual summer wine tasting at the Centre to support our Summer Holiday Youth Programme. In June 2024 we raised over £10,700 after expenses.
